The night was very difficult. We helped some very ill people. And before we realized it is dawn. We are blessed with astonishing sunrise! Some waves turn in pure gold and than the sun appears amidst a blinding explosion.

 

This spectacle is possible only in the Caribbean Sea. It makes you understand how legends are born. The beauty of this part of the world is difficult to apprehend or understand.  It is going to be a nice day! What would we like to do? Probably we are too tired for another action adventure. Than I remember the place I discovered by accident. In the shore excursion list it is just a Butterfly Galore Anytime. Many guests do not even realise it is something interesting. Well, we were totally unprepared for the magic we were about to witness.  

We (… or at least me ) were with very low expectations. A simple building with some childish decorations. Two kind Ladies great you.

You see a very interesting gift shop and there are some unique arts made of butterflies. I must take one home… I am the only one interested. The rest of our gang is ready to enter the guided tour. We go thru a filter door…  “Did you see those beauties? I bet you will never see anything like it alive.”- I keep speaking.  

 

My friends have stopped and I see their surprised faces. We are in the butterfly farm. We are in the middle of a tropical garden. We are surrounded by butterflies. Some are huge and some a tiny.

 

And some are colorful, heavenly creatures. They just come  and land on our shoulders or arms. Do you remember Snow White? The creatures fly freely. We made hundreds of pictures. I will publish just some of them. You must experience this yourself.

The experience is like one of these sweat dreams that wake you up with a smile in the morning.   The guide showed us the eggs of the butterfly. Some huge and brightly colored caterpillars. My utter surprise were the pupa. They look like pieces of gold. Nature created jewels.

 

One of them moves and there it is… A newborn butterfly straightens her wings and takes the first fly. This is the first time for a very long time I am envious for someone’s job.  Can you imagine being surrounded with all this beauty every day?
